Join Us for 3 days of Gastronomy 

Our culinary trip during this month of love welcomes Chef Paul Foster (regular on James Martin's Saturday Morning) and he's a talent for which we may eat our hearts out. Together James Golding and Paul share both the close professional bond of chef and podcast host, James appearing in season 4 of Paul's The Nightcap. We're all excited to collaborate to bring you three days of exceptional gastronomy.  

Paul, our esteemed guest, is owner of the Michelin-starred restaurant Salt, Stratford-Upon-Avon, winner of the 2006 William Heptinstall Award, a charitable scholarship which provided him the opportunity to travel the World.  Renowned for his innovative approach to gastronomy and dedication to the finest ingredients, He has worked within the Best of the Best Kitchens: Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons, The French Laundry, wd~50 before opening his own Best Kitchen. Chef Foster promises an evening of exquisite flavors and culinary finesse.

In addition to his culinary prowess, Paul Foster is also an author focused on Italy.  In his latest book, Paul travels the length of Italy to bring you "How to Cook Pasta Properly ," a testament to his passion for the art of pasta-making.  Secure your spot for his exclusive Saturday Dinner, and taste Chef Paul's culinary mastery at center stage. The price for this package is £1,125 per person.  For couples sharing a room we offer a discounted price £1800.00, a savings of £450 total, as our gift to you to celebrate an early Valentine's & ring in the Lunar New Year.  Should you have any friends travelling in the area or living locally, tickets are also available through us to guarantee a reservation for our dinner experience alone.

Friday - February 9, 2024

Welcome to Lunigiana!.  Check in time at Rustichello is from 15:00 & as mentioned in our "Tripping" notes, Tony and his team may help with transfers should you require a ride. There will be time to explore before dinner and the setting is truly breathtaking.  There is a jacuzzi, plus excellent walks in the vicinity to help one work up an appetite.  Dinner will be served from 19:00 onwards.  You can check it all out from their website on the link below.

Saturday - February 10, 2024

Beginning the day, breakfast is served from 8:00 - 10:00.  For all of those who would like to get out for the afternoon, Pontremoli's market is running in the city's Piazza or you may prefer to sample a wine tasting at Cantine Lunae.   Tonight, at 19:00 Chef Foster brings his menu to Rustichello's table, utilising local ingredients to best effect.

Sunday - February 11, 2024  

After a good start with a Rustichello breakfast, the afternoon is yours to relax and explore.  Join us at 19:00 for an exceptional evening with Chef James Golding and indulge in the modern British culinary artistry of Chef Golding as he brings his unique style to flavors inspired by the region.

Monday - February 12, 2024  

After enjoying your breakfast, today is time to check out and head home or onward to new adventures.  Check out time is 10:00, but we will be looking forward to the next event!
